I’ve photographed world events and personal interactions for over 20 years on four continents around the globe.
I love shooting photography. The images I capture inspire thought and emotion. I’ve developed the ability to pull back from my own views and provide an open look at what’s happening. I can switch to seeing through my own lens whenever my empathy helps understand the scene.

I’m a visual artist in a number of other ways and I respect the power and potential of photography and its unique ability to tell story.
The images on this portfolio show several sides of me; my vision and perspective in artistic presentations and my unbiased journalistic observation of important events that shape our world.

My photography has been used to clarify issues, sell products and create art.
My photos have been published in New York Magazine, Bloomberg News, the New York Times, NBCnewyork.com, and finally but by no means least the wonderful digital newsletter of New York City, “THECITY” where I occasionally work as Photo Editor.
My greatest ability is my skill and willingness to capture images that tell stories.
And that's what I do.
